Bumping Euro locks questions

Postby cymap » 7 Jun 2006 9:08

Hi all, just a few questions on bumping locks etc as i have been reading some of the old posts on the subject.

Can Eurolocks(PVC door locks?) be bumped ? Being upsidedown (if you like)
I have seen many keysets for sale etc such as Yale , Union, Legge and Gege etc but I gather these are for standard cylinder locks so what bump keys are used in Euro locks as they can be these makes but also lots of unknowns aswell. Thanks for your time

Yeah. So long as it uses 2 pairs of pins, and does not have tinkered pins, Euro profile locks can be bumped. :)

Souber sell bump key sets for the brands you name.

If you can get access to other blanks, and figure out the maximum depth cut, then you can cut your own. :)

You bump in exactly the same way on Euro profile cylinders. They function exactly the same mate.
