I would like to know if the following websites provide a reliable service to UK customers:
http://www.airpistol.co.uk/lockpick1.htm (cheapest prices)
http://www.locksmith-tools.co.uk/ (second cheapest)
http://www.devonlocks.com/ (most expensive)
If you have dealt with any of these companies, information about their service would be greatly appreciated, such as postage + packaging rates etc.
p.s if you know of any other reliable websites that deal in the UK, please could you post them here.
Thanks

The airpistol one has been mentioned before on here but not heard any reports back from it,
I would reccomend the 14 piece set which the airpistol shop sells for half the price lockpickshop does,
For the sake of £13.98 i would try them but make sure you get back to this thread and say what you thought of the service etc,
Also just check either with the seller or by looking through this site that you are getting the slim line models,

Those sets are standard sizes not slimline, just checked.
Sorry dude. looks like they wont do for you.
I recommend ordering a nice slimline set. any of the sites listed above can supply or you can order a nice cheap set direct from www.southord.com
Nine Piece Slim Line - C801
Fifteen Piece Slim Line - C1500 or C1510
Not bad prices but i still think if i was starting again ide still buy the picks without the metal handles. Plus it will save you some cash.

The prive differance is so big im very tempted to suggest buy the normal ones and if you get issues grind them down to slim lines, you wouldnt need to remove very much at all really,

Thanks for all your help. Now that I've found out about the SouthOrd website I think I'll buy from them, does anyone know how long it takes to ship to the UK?

I have used airpistol.co.uk and i ordered the 14 picks with metal handles, delivery to me(i'm in the UK) was 4 working days the picks are ok but they need a slight thinning down for the Uk locks,, but saying that, they work on the locks i have tried.
I have also used devonlocks, they might be the most expensive of them all, but the goods arrived the very next day, i got an email telling me the goods had been dispatched and as by magic, some guy working for the postal service gave them to me next morning
so in my opinion, for price and the possibility of needing to do a bit of work on the picks (to thin them down for UK), and if ya can wait a few days,, use airpistol,, if you want the picks as soon as, then devonlocks.
just my input guy's, hope it helps

unfortunately i do not have the tools or skills to grind down traditional picks to slimline, so i'll probably stick with southord. Thanks anyway.

I rarely use my slim line picks at work unless I get something a little more fun (some of the DOM locks have very restrictive keyways).
I usually use my Majestics (bought my first set from Southord - years back) now I order from UK trade suppliers, but Southord will supply to the UK enthusiast without awkward questions and delivery was quick as well
sledgehammers make excellent back up picks!

ok airpistol I have bought from them and they are fast cheap and easy to buy from I didnt even need a credit card which has stopped me from buying things online in the past so I would recommend them in a heartbeat, I think you can get cheap lockpicks in the uk as I have just got them of nearly half the price the us shops sell them for

Wow neer heard keyprint be called cheap, i think they are expensive and they will be no use to this poster either as they only sell to lockies
I forgot to say dont buy anything from locksmith-tools theres plenty of reasons why on this site needless to say they are no friends of this site,
