Beyond Padlock From France... HELP!

Postby JB0311NY » 9 Jun 2008 3:45

Hey all, it's been a while.
I recently got a nice Beyond padlock from france and the keyway and key are much different than anything I have seen to this point in my beginner hobby.
The Keyway has what seems to be disk's inside (for lack of a real description" ) and they spin independently. I'll post a picture and the model # when I get home from work.
Thanks for any help I can get with this one!

That's probably a 'disk detainer lock'. They're pretty hard to get open without the key and if I'm not mistaken, may only be discussed in the advanced section.

Yeah, sounds like a disc detainer lock, so opening methods are advanced. Otherwise it is fine to talk about it :) Pictures would be nice also.
