ABLOY 362E padlock pic

Postby Squelchtone » 23 Aug 2008 13:34

I woke up today, stopped by the store for a coffee and drove to the post office to pick up a package.

I was hoping it was a white and blue box from ABLOY, and that's exactly what the person at the counter brought me. A shiny PL362E factory demo padlock. For those who have not had a chance to see this lock in person, it is massive! Below is a photo comparison of another well known large padlock and another padlock most of us in the USA are very familiar with.

Enjoy!

Nice catch, I hope to see that Exec some day in here ;)

You need to get a Protec cylinder for that bad boy.

Thanks a good idea and I'm already working on it. That's why Jaakko mentioned that he cant wait to see that badboy over here (I promised him the Exec cylinder w/ keys)

Now, should I can Dennis or Han?!

gonna go work out now.. do some pl362 curls, and alternate sets with some 833c squats.

Hi,

There is a 362E on ebay right now, or you can get a brand new one from Bay Area Locks with a Protec cylinder for $249 US.
