I need manufacturer and model number for this lock if anybody knows what it is?

Have not seen it first hand myself as it is on a friends flat in Paris.

Sorry about the blurred close up but it's what I've been given.

Thanks,
Chris

Apart from looking like a mess, it seems to be a dimple-key lock. Can't tell what brand though.

Hi Jimmie :)

Thanks for the replies.
I will be getting a better picture in a few weeks which will hopefully clear up the issue of dimple versus pin tumbler.
Have posted on a few French lock sites but as yet no id has been made.
Will keep you posted once I find out the lock brand.

tell your friend to get a lock with a longer bolt throw. Then he can give you that lock. :)

I was mistaken, I thought the second photo was of the bolt coming out of the edge of the door.

Have a nice day Jimmie :D

Its probably not french at all. Could very easily be made in china. doesn't look like particularly good quality to me.

This is a faily standard lock avalable accross europe, many makes avalable, comes in various lengths and two different cam sizes typical in Spain were i trade as a locky.
p.s these are so easy to open, just stare long enough and they open.
Could be a cays ,cvc ,ckc or llargge or even a tesa.
