That pick will not open a curtain lock, it may well open non curtained types with a lot of modification but a couple of pieces of wire could do that.

That said, show us a picture of this pick, I hear of it for the first time just now. Is there a link to the site that sells them?

I was about to post the exact same question as wuslock. I dont have much access to craft my own tools, so was attracted by what looked like a reasonably priced lever pick setup.

Here is the JiaDe Quin lever pick picture you asked for, Raimundo. I dont want to contravene any forum rules by lifting the picture off another site, so here's the link: http://www.dealextreme.com/products.dx/ ... 829~page.2

So this is good for non-curtained mortice locks. Would this pick also work on opening lever padlocks such as Chubb or Squire? Im totally new to that type of lock, but wish to acquire a pick that opens Squires.

I just found an entry on the DX forum where a couple of people seem to disagree on whether this device can be used on uk mortice locks. Also about using it on lever locks. https://www.dealextreme.com/forums/Foru ... did.208911
