Interesting lever lock. It has new ideas in his design. Today are not methods and ideas how to open that lock without damage.

That looks like a very nice lock. How many American $ dollars would it cost?

Thank you!

Retail price is about $200-210. It is not usual lock. Manufacturer produces a small quantity these locks. For example, levers is laser cutted.

I am repeatedly amazed how rich and varied is the Russian lock market. Loads of nice and extraordinary locks.
This too is a fantastic lock. I'm drooling all over it..
As always Kerti, many thanks for posting about it!

That's some pretty clever engineering on that thing. Quite an addition to any lock collection.

The main idea why this lock is pickproof, because process of key code setting is separeted from moment when stump try the levers(try enters to the code window of the lever). So, if you set somekind code with help of lockpick, then turn the curtain for bring the stump to the lever. In some moment of the turning the curtain you can not change position of the levers with pick. In that position the curtain isolates lever pack from key or pick.

If a real key can stay in the lock and turn to lift the levers, then keep turning to retract the bolt, then I theorize that a 2-in-1 tool can be made to simulate the key. The curtain may only stop a set of wires, but I'd like to hear what our lever lock experts from the UK have to say to my theory.

Thanks,

Also , lever has not spring. So, so the lockpicking tool must can raise the lever and move down lever too.

As long as tension can be applied to the bolt then the levers can individually manipulated into the gate.

The gearing appears to prevent tensioning the bolt for a while but there comes a point where the bolt is free and thats when you would start picking.
Unless the levers are locked in their position at this point then it can be manipulated.

Although the curtain would prevent primitive wire attacks i dont think it would prevent someone making a dedicated 2in1 pick to easilly open this.

Thats what i can deduce from the images video anyway, I may have overlooked something. :P
