Zeiss Ikon lock

Hi there I bought this Zeiss Ikon lock but I can't find the exact same model for ordering a new one ( don't have any key). Even with the serial number I have not been able to found anything. There are my pictures I hope you can help me one this one. Also I would like to know if it is possible to take it appart to see what inside. thanks

but I'm not able tho know witch one it is but looks like a 7 pins slots. either SK5, SP6, P6, TK6, SK7(existing model) or P0, P5, TK5, SK6, WSW, (new model)

So you bought a lock without any keys?
Why do you want to find the exact same model? You can just buy a new lock with keys, Zeiss ikon still makes good locks.

Finding one which is exactly liek that will probably be troublesome, the keyway looks rather unusual probably part of a master key system. The upper part is really wide and open and a low leve lock in an at least partly profile-based master key system can look like that.

Have you tried getting it to a local lochsmith? Zeiss Ikons are very rare outside of Germany so not many people here are experts on them. I know I'm not an expert on them at least

thanks for that info. Yes I just got an email from Zeiss Ikon and they told me about a local locksmith near my home. I will might have some help there to ! I just really want to pick this particular lock

When I hafta get a strange key I refer to the Ilco Key Book, zeiss ikon will no doubt have a bunch of different keys, but I will try to aquire the master key blank as that will fit many different keyways. The locksmith will prolly hafta buy 10 blanks minimum. You could try a call to Blue Dog Keys, they stock odd key sections, but my g-d, their prices are High.

I know it's a bit easier in the US, but it can get hard to get blanks here in the other side of the pond. The reason: I just counted my older key blank catalogue has 215 different key blanks for (just for) zeiss ikon locks

So Zeiss Ikon has almost 2/3 as many blanks as I have total.!

I had a few of these. Made them into cutaways too... they are proper naughty to pick either way!
