ERA 5 lever

Hi guys.

I have recently found that i can order ERA 5 lever sash locks ( with curtain :D ) through a local hardware store.

Are these a good lock to have for practice?

this particular model had a brown case, anitpick notches and cost $65AUS

i was also thinking od getting a legge yellow from england.

which one is best to have ??

Ethereal dont know what the exchange rate is for aus but $65 sounds very expensive.
I think i can pick them up for around £8

Yeah, as far as i see it i'm lucky to find one in australia.

These locks are not sold in ERA packaging but in something starting with "S" ( Aussie lockies..help!)

All english locks cost the earth by the time they get here - chubb stuff is a joke - personally I think they fly it out business class - it's the only thing to explain it !

there are some era profit bs locks on ebay at the moment for £5 each or 10 for £40 and posting is reasonable seems decent price.

Here is company in London that will ship down under: Grant Haze (London) ltd 0044 208531 9696. They do Profit's for £7.00, Chubb 114 & 114E's are about £16.00, don't know what the shipping would be though, I suppose if a few of you wanted to put in an order you could split the shipping costs.
