Help making DIY Abloy (classic) pick

Postby ollihd » 27 May 2020 16:27

Hi all,

So I'm trying to make my own Abloy Classic (3020) pick, but I have a hard time finding materials to start working with. Any suggestions? I tried stainless steel piping, but it was way too fragile. I have some old DD picks laying around and I can easily use them for the handles, but the "main" parts of the pics are giving me a hard time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I should try to make one, too.

Hard steel - hard to work with, but an old drill bit would be pretty strong.

Drill bit sounds good actually, very good idea! Maybe a screwdriver would work with this logic as well. Have to try
