Found new perfect material for tension wrenches, just go to your local scrap yard and pull off some windscreen wipers on either side of the rubber is a flat metal strip pull it out, cut it and bend it, no heat required fantastic!

theres a search button up there, use it before you get flamed in case you ask any silly questions
if you'd used it, you'd know that almost everyone on the forum knows about wiper blades and uses them because they are so good. Thank you for contributing to the forum though, next time have a quick go with the search because its almost certainly been said before
but hello, welcome to the forum! enjoy your stay
have fun picking!

For the love of anything flammable, please look here:
Search (hint - it's at the top of the page)
If it ain't broke.....pull it down and see how it works anyway!

While we're on the subject of new materials, I just wanted
to tell everyone about what I found out about.
Has anyone ever thought of trying hacksaw blades as picks?

Oh, and greets 247! A lot of new people get lightly toasted by the search thing. Its just existing LP101ers way of keeping the 'signal to noise' ratio high. Read, learn and welcome!

Yes, Grudge but I can't post the technique here.
Look in the thread called thermite.
Or do a search for:
I AND want AND to AND steal AND drinks AND from AND
a AND guy AND just AND trying AND to AND make AND
an AND honest AND living.
Or you could try a round piece of metal (I find a two buck coin works well)
and stick it in the secret slot that only thirsty hackers and now you, know
about. I usually find that this technique will usually spit out a few coins, too.
If you do this enough, you will get stacks of coins and be rich.
Feel free to show your mates this secret.

Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....

Sure thing, Shrub.
If you want to get into a padlock:
* Look into the keyway and see what side the pins are on.
* Using a high speed blade, cut that side of the lock off
(at high speed) and the pins should be able to tip out.
***It is important to use a high speed blade because they
are quicker (hence 'high speed') otherwise someone may
catch you***
For houses:
* Most houses with security alarms have an override
key built into the brick DIRECTLY below the slot in their
mailbox.
* Using a hacksaw blade, cut the brick out.
***Saw the brick out SLOWLY so as not to get the blade hot
which would ruin the temper on the blade, rendering it useless
for other burglaries.***
* Taking the brick to a dark alley, cut it EXACTLY in half
(slowly) and you will now have what you need, to enter the premises.
Hope that helps, Shrub.

Yes, paperclips do work on any deadbolt.
*Cut an inch off a paperclip and throw the rest away.
*Use the paperclip to brush the pins, warming up the springs
which will help picking.
(with this method, you won't be needing a tension wrench)
*Because of the shortness that the paperclip has to be, you
can guarantee that your fingerprints will be left on the lock if
you are not smart about this, and you'll get caught.
For this reason, I always carry a can of lighter fluid that I use
to keep both both hands moistened at all times, leaving them
oil-free and incapable of leaving a print.
(better to be safe than sorry, right?)
*After a while, if nothing seems to be happening in the lock,
you will quite probably need to use a lighter or a match to
further warm up the paperclip.
This is about as good a lesson that I can teach you, regarding
burglary methods.
If that doesn't work for you, try holding a cd against a window
and scratching around it with the paperclip.
(Be careful and DON'T RUSH this bit)
Once you can see a cd sized scratch on the window, use a
hammer to give it a few small taps or one big tap.
Climb in the window and open the door.
An alternate method to picking, is to bypass the lock all together.
This can be done a few ways, but I find that if I put my
drivers licence in the side of the door, I can open any door
by feeling for the 'IQ standing'.
If you try this and it doesn't fit, it means that you don't have
an 'IQ standing' with that lock in which case you'll need to go
for the 'ID in' method.
For this to be done properly I have always found that a licence
will always work the best. You'll need to put
your licence underneath the door DIRECTLY BELOW the
lock and give it a good, hard flick with your index finger
to deactivate the 'ID out' mechanism
If you have any problem with the safe, let me know.
