Has anyone been able to pick any BS locks with this pick and if so what ones?

its as good as most others on union, yale and chubb 3U114 locks as long as no 6 or 7 lever present, but you often need to adjust body and wire.

the only one that ive found to be reliable on most lock types is the cb pick, though i do like the safeventures tool on the ones it can pick.

thanks mate, I now hope that the ones on the bench have a 6 & 7 in so I don't feel so bad. I also agree with you about the Safe-ventures pick, really nice to use and yes it does look cool!
I still have not tried the cb pick but it is at the top of the wanted list just as soon as I stop having to replace power tools, which seem to have joined in on a suicide pact.

Ive had the CB pick from day one and not used anything else as it happens, ive made some but just dont bother useing them :oops:

Is the leva-pix that triangle shaped one i saw at the G-mex earlier in the year? if so who sells them? it looked quite inovative.

no paul the leverpix tool is same shape as safe ventures, the one you refer to is the francis 3 gauge pick, great idea but the way its designed makes it hard to tension at the door frame gets in way.

7th to 9th of April 2006 is MLA show in Telford. Spent a lot of time in pubs around Ironbridge just near Telford, great area! Anyone for a pint next year?

the francis pick is a great idea, but the 3 prongs make it hard to tension at the door, at least with cb pick etc you can remove the handle to turn and engage the talon when frames in the way, as far as i know you cannot do this on the multi pick mark makes, which is indeed a terminal flaw, though he may have altered this now ?

Drinking with Andy is a great idea, except the day after at the show you try to hold a pick in a lock on a stand in front a lots and lots of locksmiths and the guy who makes the wendt pick tells you that you need not turn it on as your shacking so much.

Yes it is a wonder how someone so short can drink so much, if its a tall glass like a stein, which being german he likes, its best to bring a step ladder for him.

When I tried mark's multi-pick at the show I did find you can get a good feel off it though.

Yes Chris, I'm surprised you didn't pick that cylinder open just by merely holding the Wendt gun, there was little need to press the button for the needle to move rigorously.

Found a nice classy establishment with ladies dancing on the bar and you two girls sloped off early anyway.

Telford eh? Meant to be a bit of a dive from what I've been told. Nobody here lives there do they? Good.

As i can only think of one legal place in Manny that allows this i know where you mean and last time i was there saw a girl fall off the bar and brake her leg, oh how we laughed, the bouncers need a sence of humour replacement, i got up to go to the bar and got told to stay sitting down, i said im off to the bar and they said i wasnt an argument ensued with all my mates and we got asked to leave, or was it because one of my mates tryed to repeatedly touch one of the girls, im not quite sure :lol:
