Doug Farre, of the UT Dallas Lockpicking Club, has joined our ranks and will be the first president of the ULSI/DT Dallas Texas chapter. Doug's club is not new, but it's participation in LSI is. The club at UT is a very successful one, boasting around 60 members in one lone location. Doug has shown a tremendous passion for locksports, evidenced by the very successful club he and those around him have established. Recently Doug and his cohorts at UT had been considering branching out to form a national organization when he came upon LSI. The LSI model fit well with Doug's views of a broader locksport organization, so Doug has agreed to adopt the LSI moniker and jump in with both feet.
Doug has also accepted a position on the LSI Board of Directors. After much discussion with Doug, I believe his passion for locksports makes him a great fit with on the LSI board, and a valuable addition to the club as a whole.
So join me in welcoming Doug to the LSI team!
P.S. There is one more addition to the board of directors, but I will make that in a separate announcement.
