Anyone in the Richmond VA area?

Anyone in the Richmond VA area?

Postby Nrhlmck » 14 Mar 2012 10:23

Hello everyone,

I am new to lock picking and I am looking for someone who would be willing to help a newbie out locally. I am very interested in becoming an apprentice under a professional locksmith in the Richmond area as well.

If there are any clubs or groups in the area would you please let me know? I am just getting started, I have ordered the basic SouthOrd pick kit to get me started. I am also collecting locks of all shapes and sizes and building a little practice station. I have also scheduled to take the 25E locksmith certification through the VA DCJS.

So if there is anyone here locally that would be willing to help out, allow me to be an apprentice or if there is a local locksport club I would definitely be interested.

Thanks for reading.

Hi,

I know it's been a few months, but I wanted to point out that Schuyler Towne is giving a one day training on lock picking in Richmond, on 6/15. He's also giving a talk on 6/16 at the RVAsec conference.

Registration ends in just a few days, but there is still room in his training for a full day of hands-on.

Thanks!
