The software we used to create the Toool.us site is actually pretty cool. It's a content management system named "Joomla." I had actually been pretty fervently against content management systems prior to using this, but after spending a day learning it (and leaning on their very upbeat, helpful community) I realized what an efficient, powerful system it is. Very customizable. There are templates available all over the place, and even pretty straightforward tutorials on how to make your own.

I've worked with site-builders before, but I really enjoy and prefer writing my own code. That said? I was genuinely impressed with Joomla. If you guys need a nice, professional looking site? Give it a try.

Heh, and don't think I'm shilling for the company ;) It's free software. I was just very surprised with it.

That said? You'll probably have to make some of your own, custom tweaks to the system, but everything is doable with a little bit of research and some patience. :)

Heh, reading that back it sounds like an infomercial :P sorry!

I think you're on the level of De Arthurmeister, but you may have to prove it at the Dutch Open ;)

Alright, I've done a minimal update to the site. I'm going to try to rally the whole crew and see if we can't get some original articles going soon. I also plan to post pictures from the upcoming TOOOL Boston meeting there. :D

Thanks for sticking with us, everyone!

Well I would love to look at it, I click register and get told that I can't because have to be invited. :( The site kinda looks neat though, from my limited vantage point.

Become a TOOOL member. ;-)

For now, we don't have the formal registration system set up, so it will probably be a few weeks before this will be possible. I'll keep you posted. ;-)
Oh!
