Coming to Boston in May for my nieces graduation from college. Might get a chance to catch up with you Schulyer and others, if you want. Thinking about heading to that pubzone near harvard for a tipple.

That would be brilliant! When in May, though? I'm going to be gone to Europe/LockCon during the last 10 days of it.

Just in case any Bostonians still check this, we've been getting together consistently every months lately at Sprout: http://thesprouts.org. We'll be there again tomorrow (sat. 27th of jan) from 2PM-6PM.

Oh, and Global - with LockCon canceled, I'll be in town, you'll have to swing over to the space, we'll try to arrange a meet up for you.

Are you guys still meeting up? Is there any scheduled meetings coming up?

Schuyler wrote:Hey, everyone,

Looks like TOOOL Boston will have a regular place to meet as a result of some nice folks who have recently opened a hacker space in Davis Square. We're having an open TOOOL Meeting this Saturday (Aug. 29th) from 2PM to 6PM to introduce ourselves to our new hosts, welcome old members who haven't had a meeting in a long time and get to know plenty of new pickers in our area.

So, if you are anywhere in the Boston area and want to come hang out, here's the address:

TOOOL Rules, LI drools (and so do the FOOLs)

That's right, I SAID IT! ;)

Yup - I was hoping to make something happen on the 20th of this month, but I'm not 100% on that at the moment, as I've being called away to do something else. Anyway, whenever it is it will always be on a Saturday from 2PM-6PM at Sprout in Somerville: http://thesprouts.org

Shoot me a PM and I'll hook you up with some reliable contact info so I can let you know when the next meetup is.

Great meeting yesterday!

Nothing like picking locks and talking about locks with good friends while enjoying a cold beer on a nice Boston day.

Thank you to all the fresh faces who were in attendance. I hope you enjoyed our explanations, demos, and tutoring, and walked away with a warm and fuzzy feeling about locksport and picking locks as a hobby.

See you at the next meeting, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 19th, 2010 from 2pm to 6pm.

A big thanks to the Sprout/DINO hackerspace people for being our gracious hosts for the meetings.

Have a great weekend everybody!

June 19th meeting was very fun, lots of cool locks to pick. Next month we will all be at HOPE, and then DEFCON for who ever can make it, so probably no official meeting in Boston in July.

PICS from today!

Yes. Blackberry 8900 Curve, 3.2 MP camera. I wish I had a real DSLR or at least a decent point and shoot though.
