Looks like TOOOL Boston will have a regular place to meet as a result of some nice folks who have recently opened a hacker space in Davis Square. We're having an open TOOOL Meeting this Saturday (Aug. 29th) from 2PM to 6PM to introduce ourselves to our new hosts, welcome old members who haven't had a meeting in a long time and get to know plenty of new pickers in our area.

Nothing like picking locks and talking about locks with good friends while enjoying a cold beer on a nice Boston day.

Thank you to all the fresh faces who were in attendance. I hope you enjoyed our explanations, demos, and tutoring, and walked away with a warm and fuzzy feeling about locksport and picking locks as a hobby.

June 19th meeting was very fun, lots of cool locks to pick. Next month we will all be at HOPE, and then DEFCON for who ever can make it, so probably no official meeting in Boston in July.

newbie 'picker checking in from the boston area. definitely interested in meeting some of the local folks and attending a meeting or gathering anytime soon.

i JUST got introduced to this at HOPE and got my first set of ("gently used") picks from the lockpick village, along with some helpful intro tips and whatnot. lots of fun.
