nice pip, but that would be a logo for and advertisement of some sort. The one db post seemed more of a professional logo aswell as a seal.

Please contact me directly for info on starting a group. First step, though, would be to read and understand the charter. :)

the charter

Holy sh*t db, did you write that? Well done! That was the most professional locksport related document I have ever read. I would be proud to be either:

a) an Australian chapter
b) a Queensland chapter
c) or a person that has that charter framed on his wall, all 8 pages...

I can guarantee that other Aus members would gladly sprout an Aus chapter and probably a state chapter under it. Keep us posted. :D

Chrispy: Well, we're looking for folks to start chapters in their own hometown. Please consider this an invite to do so. :) All you need to get the ball rolling is a small handful of folk who are interested in meeting monthly. Maybe even 3-4 to start. Primary focus right now is to get these chapters up and running. Once established and operating, I'll work with you to help promote and grow the chapter.

Also, thanks for the kudos on the charter. We put a lot of work into it and, though it'll certainly be a work in progress as we fumble our way through this, I think it does represent a fully workable and sensible foundation to this project.

MeRZHiN: Translations will almost certainly be needed as we see chapters spring up in other countries. Consider starting a chapter in your area.

Cheers guys!

As an Irish-American, however, I think you might have forgot something :P

I don't think a bottle of whiskey would be appropriate on the new logo, cracksman. :P

Hey guys. Just wanted to drop in a quick note with an update on the state of affairs in the land of LSI. Things are progressing nicely. It looks like we'll be ready to start taking member apps and getting chapters up and running imminently. Also, an official website is just around the corner. If you've been considering getting a club going and are not sure what's involved or how to go about it, please drop me a PM and I'll discuss it with you. It looks like we've got the Edmonton chapter pretty near ready to roll. Yay! Go Albertans!

Cheers.
