I am from the North side of Chicago. My life is crazy busy but I would make time in we had an event in or around Chicago.
I have a master #40 that I would love to pass around the table.
There are plenty of picnic groves in Chicagoland. We can pull up a few picnic benches and go to town. I really dont think we will have any legal issues. Cops have better things to do than bust up a picking party.
If we by some chance get busted, im sure we can pick our way out of a cell.

It would most likely be indoor, but we could have an outdoor bbq if it was nice outside.

Just a little thought (and I haven't looked into it at all) but if it is held in a place that is accessible by flight, I might consider this as an option. Not sure what kind of rates I'd be looking at for flights, but with the price of gas these days it may be worthwhile for me to fly somewhere rather than drive.

What if there was free cutaway cylinder offered for you if you showed up??? If that makes you decide to come then N2oah better be paying up a cutaway.........
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Chicago. I was there several years ago, but it was just a stopover on the way to New York and I only had a couple hours, so I didn't leave the airport. Nice airport tho.

Maybe we could have it right in the O'Hare Oasis! It's got a Krispy Kreme shop right in it!

I'm sure O'Hare security would not mind, AT ALL, that there was a lockpicking meeting going on near the terminals...

Map has been updated with geno's location.
Seems like holding it in Chicago might be such a horrible idea, as it would also allow some people to do some touring if interested.
Is there anyone who would be adverse to this?

The O'Hare Oasis isn't actually part of the airport, it is a cafe/shop type thing that goes over a highway.

Indeed you are correct. For whatever reason I thought you were referring to the commercial shopping and food court area that's in some of the terminals, right next to the main entrances to the walkways.
It's been a while since I've been to O'Hare and I had forgotten about the various "Oasis" stops that are above some of the highways. Although, I think it might be a bit un-interesting and cramped for our purposes.
