Winnipeg Meeting Video!!!

Postby digital_blue » 30 Oct 2005 13:55

This meeting was a lot of fun! I am so pumped to release the video. I've never tried hosting a 30MB video from our host, so here's hoping. :)

It's in QuickTime's MOV format, and it will stream if you're on broadband. Many thanks to Sean from LSI Winnipeg for editing 4 hours of feed down to a fun 13 minute video.

By the way, the moment where I lean forward toward Lyle with a look of absolute awe was the moment where he picked the Level 3 lock in 6:59.00, leaving just one second on the clock before his time was up! It was a truly amazing moment and we had a lot of laughs replaying that moment of my shear amazement and Lyle's delight.

The little blooper bit at the end was us getting Sean's high tec video camera (circa 1984) up and running at the beginning of the meet.

Hope you like!

DB, I couldn't get the file going. Why don't you try hosting it at Putfile.com? http://www.putfile.com/weekvideos

They are a free hosting service. You could also edit in some info at the beginning or end, for advertising LSI to a very large audience.

I'll take a look at that. Thanks Buggs. Now, you couldn't get it to download, or it wouldn't play properly? You'll likely need the latest version of QuickTime to play it.

The page would not load. I don't know for a fact that I have Quicktime installed/updated. So that could be the problem. I'll look into it some more.

It played fine for me.
I downloaded Quicktime and it worked fine.

Google Quicktime and the one at the top of the list
has a free one with iTunes.

Nice picking, guys.
Didn't understand much of what was said, but nice picking LOL.

LOL. Would you believe, I made that? :) If course, it wasn't intended as a belt.

I would love to watch this video, but the page says that it can not be found. Is there another link or address that I can put in as
http://www.locksport.com/lsi_wpg_oct2205.mov
does not work. Thanks for the help. I just want to see what goes on at meetings, as I have never been to one, only had them at my house with some friends. Thanks.
I hear what you are saying.....that doesn't mean I agree with you....Just that I am nodding my head to placate you and silence your futile attempts to win the argument.
