ALSI/GC - Aus LockSports International - Gold Coast Chapter

Postby Chrispy » 25 Jul 2005 18:25

Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to formally announce that the Gold Coast chapter of LockSports International is up and running.

Any queries or questions can be directed to the chapter email address rather than my personal address.

Locality will govern who joins which chapter, and I hope to see more Aus chapters spring up (Perth comes to mind  ). Perhaps interstate (or national) meetings will soon become a regular occurrence.

Anyway, keep an eye out for the monthly newsletter which, after I find somewhere to host a .pdf version of it, can be available for viewing.

Sincerely,
Chrispy
GC Chapter President

P.S. A big thanks to DB and Varjeal for their efforts, which without, none of this could have been possible.

Don't get too excited, membership is very minimal at this stage. All the characters I know 'round these parts aren't the type you want to teach how to pick locks... if ya know what I mean. I can think of one of my friends who I wouldn't mind have a problem sponsoring for membership, otherwise, I'll have to wait for others to show an interest. Basically, it's in its very infant stage of life cycle. :)

I'm a few years late to the party it seems.
May I join? I live in Carrara and have been picking basic locks on and off for a few years, but haven't really gone much into developing my skills, so I wanted to join a club and see how much I can improve.
Is the Gold Coast chapter still active?
