hey i live in SE michigan as well. i just joined this site, got my first set of picks and have only picked one lock so far. i may be interested in joining a group if someone was to start one.

Would your group be limited to U.S citizens, I live in Windsor and may be able to make the trip over to the U.S to attend - I would have to rent a locker someplace to store my gear - not sure of the laws regarding crossing an international border with tools is.

I'm from Macomb county and go to school at Eastern. Judging from the posts so far no group exists yet. I'd be all for starting a group, but I think we should map out whereabouts everyone is and find a spot somewhere in the middle.

hey all i just ran across this forum browsing for things on locksmithing. My work offered the class and then cancelled it, so i thought i would try learning it myself. I just purchased a set of picks and they should be here today. I also would be interesed in joining a group. I live in warren and work afternoons.

Black zero we should try and get some interest in it and see if anyone is close to angola, IN. That way we could do a whole south michigan, northern indiana, and ohio. The only reason I say angola is because it's pretty much on the border of all 3 states and its on a pretty big express way. But it would be really hard to plan something that far away from me.


I could try and plan something in my area but that would be a really long trip for you (probably around 3.5 hours).


Anyways if anyone is still active and would like to plan a michigan thing let me know.
