From limited viewing of your picture, can I presume that most of these keys went to S&G 833 type padlocks? I noticed that most seem to be broken at the first cut and not at the shoulder. Was the user just not getting the key in all the way before twisting it off?
Nothing is foolproof to a talented fool. Wisdom is not just in determining how to do something, but also includes determining whether it should be done at all.

Hi Raymond, The bow on S&G military locks usually doesn't look like that it is either round or square bow for the control keys. The keys in his pic look like the Liberty bow, but I don't think they sell Liberty where he is. We have the same problem on our DBK system at work, some of the doors have a 6 cut on the first position, and we get a credit from our Medeco locksmith every time someone breaks a key off in the door. That is quite a mountain of keys! All I can think is either you've been a locksmith for a long time, or you are the only Medeco guy in the country. Either way, it's impressive.
