Hi i'm from the UK been locksmithing for about 4 years now and love the challenge of non destructive entry. I like to make my own picks for different types of locks and I am finding this site useful for some different technicians and hope to learn more from it. Thanks for a great forum with some useful information.

Hi all, just got a set of lock picks for my birthday. I figured it'd be a cool thing to try and my uncle is pretty open minded about this. :) Anyways, I'm here to learn more about picking in general and actually if its not too much trouble to get a certain DND Best keyway identified. Anyone know where I should post?

Hi there, my name is Adam and I just started picking about 3 days ago, I bought a 5 pin deadbolt from work and have been practicing with it. It had a spool pin in the 4th chamber that I removed along with the key pin to make it a 4 pin lock for the first couple of days and once I had a feel for that I put the spool back in and have been picking away at that with more and more success as I go. I have always been interested in the craft but never knew where I could find the resources to learn. This site is a great asset to others in the same situation. I look forward to reading up on the different techniques, locks and picks I'll come across over the years and thank you all in advance for the help. Happy Picking.

Hello everyone, my name is Sam. I recently immersed myseld inthe art of locksmithing. I have always been intrigued in puzzles, and a friend of mine suggested lockpicking to quench my affinity for puzzles. I look forward to sharing all of my experiences on my path to becoming an artisan

Hey hey, I'm Steve. I started picking last week because I lost the key to my shed lock (Brinks R70) ...I've always enjoyed puzzles and locks are turning out to be my favorite kind! It's nice to find a place like this, I look forward to learning more :)

Hi, Helen here! I've been lurking on the site for a while, but this is the first time I took the plunge and registered. I am definitely a newbie to lock picking. I have been practising with cylinders but that's about it. I got into locks by chance. Amazon recommended a southord beginner set of picks to me, which I sent off for and started playing with. I then ordered a bigger set of Klom picks. I know the theory back to front, but i need to get the practice in. Oh my nickname is based on what I like to order at the local chinese :) (beancurd in spicy blackbean sauce) :)

I'm relatively new to the lock picking community, however not so new to picking. I had become interested in picking locks before I knew there was such an avid community for locksport. I'm excited to become a part of all this and improve my skills and share what knowledge I do have with others.
