Hey guys, I'm still relatively new to all this. I've been picking locks now for a few months (spending a decent number of hours when I have time) everyday having fun with locks. I've picked a lot of padlocks mostly from Masterlock their Magnum series M1, M15. I've picked some Kwikset locks. I've picked a Corbin standard lock with 5 pins, and 4 security pins.
I've picked some of the ACE padlocks with security pins (spools). I feel I've made a good step from total beginner to at least being able to proficiently pick standard pin locks, and security pins like spools.
What's the next step? I didn't realize how fun and fascinating this all is, and I want to eventually progress into picking higher security locks, like dimple locks, disc detainer locks etc. What is the next step of progression? I was going to buy some American Lock 1100s. What other locks do you guys recommend? Also, I have a decent set of TOK tension bars from Peterson, and a decent amount of Peterson and SouthOrd picks. Is there any other equipment I should look into buying? Thanks for the help!

Please use the blue Search button. There is one in the top right corner of the page, and one in the top left first section. Sorry to appear rude, but we get that question about once a week, and we get a little tired of typing the same response again and again.

Search is a great suggestion from Gwiens2001, I also like to go into each sub forum and scroll the last 25 topics to see whats currently being talked about. here is a post from Monday of someone else asking about a list of locks from easy to difficult: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=64822#p483359
