Hi,

OK, after I wrote two postings in other threads I finally get to my introduction here :)

I'm a hobbyist lockpicker from germany, have been picking for about 5 years now so I have some experience, but I'm practicing much less than some others here... I never built own tools except fora few tensions wrenches (even though I attended a workshop once and got some brickstrap lying around for years now :) but bought quite some over the time, for those interested, my "collection" contains:

- My first set, made by "ilco", containing about 20 standard-tools including a 4-dip-snake which I use a lot
- A few HPC PIP-11/13, ordered a few once for friends and had too much afterwards :)
- the HPC KGB Set, really a nice small set, but I broke my snake :(
- a HPC Pen Pick-Set which mainly is the HPC-2000 tools as needles (could be used in an e-pick, too) and a pen-shaped holding device. Not sold anymore as far as I can see, but you can see it on the image I posted in the handcuff thread.
- the HPC Coumputer Picks
- the HPC Flip-it, not usefull in sport but quite some help in the cases where friends need help with their front door, of which I had quite a few so far... Not all needed picking, though :)
- The Souber Tools London set for DOM-style locks (don't know how these are called in english), it's often sold as specially for mul-t-locks but I only used it for DOMs so far
- The Southord jackknife pick set
- A few tools I bought as add-ons, like a hook and two snakes from the HPC 2000 series with rubber coated end and some extra tension tools

So much for today,
Martin

Welcome all and darkblood check out http://www.devonlocks.com as well. you should only need the 9 piece slim line set really as you will find over time most picks in a big set dont get used.Make extra tension wrenches from wiper blade metal, its very easy just bend them with pliers.

Virtually every subject has already been covered on this site so search search search.

Greets to all. Dive right in and enjoy the fun...I'm definitely much better at picking locks than I am at fixing my 'puter. :(

Greetings,
I'm (Clearly) new to the site and have already learnt a lot! I'm a "Local Government Officer" in Camden, London, England. Getting into places has long been a hobby - I rock climb, cave, explore etc... and now its part of my job! I trained as a mech. engineer and have some basic lock bypass skills. Last week I had to assist a disabled lady with "mental health issues" gain access to her residence and when I contacted the emergency locksmith dept I watched a "Locksmith" jemmy the door - if I'd known that I would've climbed in the window! This has inspired me to study genuine lockpicking and my picks should be in the post. I'll try not to be a nuisance and I hope to gain as many tips as possible
