im owen, a student from canterbury england.. a little drunk and confused right now, im glad i stumbled accross your forum you sound like a great bunch of peeps!

i am new to the art (and maybe science) of lockpicking, but i hope to order my first set of picks and practise board tomorrow and to get started asap.. just gotta read up first!

After years of playing around with locks, I've finally joined a group of like minded people. What a great and informative site!
Over the last couple of years I've taken a real DIY approach to lock sport, from making picks and tensioners to my own lock bypass metheods and some quite different methods of entry. I think the real ethos behind lock sport is a basic puzzle solving methodology, something which I really enjoy.
Any way guys like i said I am new, hope i posted this in the right area.

im a sophmore, i have made many picks with my bench grinder and hacksaw blades. i finally ordered some real picks today, and was offered an aprenticeship(sp?) at the same time.

I live in Surfers Paradise, but I was born in Greenlane Hospital and grew up in Henderson, Kumeu, Huapai, Te Atatu, Massey, and so on and so forth. I lived in 14 different houses by the time I was 14.

Yet another newbie has stumbled into your midst

After I spotted a table with some 5 piece lock picking kits at a local gun show I got interested.

I love to teach myself new skills and I enjoy a good challenge.

I purchased the PXS14EZ kit from lockpickshop.com last night with 2 day shipping. It's shipped so I should have it by the end of the week. I'm really looking forward to giving it go and learning something.
