I'm new here, having heard about the site last week at SafeTech(tm). I've been safecracking for four and a half years now. I do pretty well at combination lock manipulation and at picking pin-tumbler locks with spool pins, as well as at impressioning a variety of locks. But I'm always interested in getting better, and in good discussion on the subjects. I have a particular interest in becoming good at picking lever tumbler locks.

Hello, just wanted to let everyone know your forum helped me keep something akin to sanity during a long deployment in Iraq. I only recently had something I could post, so I figured I'd register, but I've learned quite a bit from everyone here. Wonderful site!

Walking on your hands is easy, but if you can't handstand properly you'll struggle.

Try doing it against a wall - hold it there untill your arms tell you it's time to stop, repeat as many times as possible.

Now go into a handstand and gather your balance, and at this point lean you legs in the direction you wish to go - if you wish to go forwards, bend them in that direction, this will shift you balance forwards, and your body will be forced to follow. If you lose your balance do not flounder - exert pure strength, and force your arms straight, you will regain balance. once you are balanced try again - 3 steps forwards is good to aim for to begin, after that set yourself targets.

Take it slowly, and don't rush... the people who rush are those who cripple themselves. Your body will tell you when you're ready to progress.
