Introduction

Postby Lakes » 4 Sep 2006 4:26

I've been reading the site for a while and joined only recently. I took the advanced locksmithing Foley Belsaw courses in 1997 among other training courses.

I've been examining locks and safes for many years prior to taking the FB courses and enjoy the engineering involved in the puzzles.
I have collected many books and tools over the last 20 years, but my first key machine was the FB machine sent upon graduation.

I am a private detective, but have never used the afore mentioned skills in the course of an investigation, in the context of 'Black Bag' work.

I'm looking for a sport picking club in the U.S. on the west coast.
International contacts hold special interest for me.

I hope I can help answer questions in the future.

I must say that I'm impressed with the moderator's "advice-giving" activity on the forums. On pretty much every single topic posted, some moderator gives constructive, useful advice on whatever is asked.

On most forums, the moderators just sit back and delete the offensive posts, neglecting the reason why they were put into the moderators' position: their experience.

Keep up the good work!

You should click profile on the right column, then fill in your signature in the signature text area, then just click save.
A lot of times when a package says Open Other End, I purposely open the end where it says that

i am new!!

Postby dieselducy » 4 Sep 2006 21:43

I am an avid padlock collector and I stumbled upon this site thru google. I collect the BEST brand padlocks, and i also like the older Lever locks. I picked pin tumbler lock for the first time in my life the other day and it took me about 30 mins. I consider myself an "ameture" lockpicker and I have come to this site to unite with other people who are interested in locks.

My name is Andrew Reams, I am from central VA, I am 29 years old and I am a truck driver. I love collecting padlocks, PHOTOGRAPHY!! (i have quite a few pics of my locks!!) driving, and computers. Thats all i can think of for now. so here is my official HELLO!!!
