Well I bought the CD Friday and received it on Monday (kudos for the very fast shipping, I cannot thank you enough). Anyway, all in all I knew most of the stuff on the CD (and I consider myself an intermediate); however, the few things I did not know were defiantly worth the price. The Master 175 trick was among one of the few things I did not know and I was filled with nothing but delight when I ran and tried the technique on my Master 175, sure enough it popped right open. Though the information on the CD doesn't mesh together in any specific order, it is great information.

I didn't really mind the Southord promotions because I use a lot of southord tools and enjoyed hearing how good they were.

I do have one question for David however. When you were referring to the video that absurdly said to use 1lb of tension, where you referring to The Locksmith? If I can recall I too was quite surprised to hear him say 1lb of tension should be used.

Well that was just my small bit. Again, thank you David for the wonderful DVD and fast shipping. Looking forward to Part II.

I've never seen the video, but I googled master 175 technique, and I think I figured it out.

I think.
:? :? 8)

I don't have a master 175 to test it out on, though.

Good luck figuring things out from trailers, n2 :P

Real cool bypass, though it's stopped working here, I think because I've bent my SO hook hopelessly out of shape.

Yeah, you have to depress the shackle when taking the pick out as well. I didn't the first time and really bent my pick.

Doesn't matter; it bends on applying the lever, too. Takes a bit of force.

Fascinating. It took very little force for me. I suppose there are countless reasons why one's tighter than the other. I mourn for your pick Vector.

Yeah, this lock's older than sin, so it's probably a mess anyway.

The Lockpicking for the New Millenium DVD is the best video on lockpicking ever, period. If anyone can find a better DVD or video let me know? I've seen them all and I doubt there is one.

I am right now working on a high security video in high definition
scheduled for release next year that will teach how to open Medeco
Bi-axial, Schlage Primus, DOM, Multi-lock, Abloy Granite locks and high
end safe manipulation. I will also hit on some points I failed to cover
in this video, things I wanted to have but didn't have time to add.

If you would come out with a part II I would buy that in a second . I loved the first one,it was awesome. If you woud be able to get into more high end security locks that would be great. I mean locksmith books are great, but when you have that visual perspective it really helps with my technique alot .

thanks samsonai

I have the video to. I think that even though I knew most of what was on it, what I didn't know was worth the 30 bucks I spent on ebay to get it. It really is good. Maybe I am biased, I watched the whole thing, and even the most simple parts still kept my attention. I really did dig the 175 bypass. It is great because in my industry(cellular) all of our compounds are locked with them, from all types of carriers. Now I show all my crews how to open them up incase our lock is not present. It litterally has saved my company over 50 man hours over the last 2 months. Great video david, I to would buy the 2nd in a heartbeat. I especially like the short little segment that played over the credits with your string of padlocks, it looked like mine lol. You should show your lock collection in the second video, just a suggestion. Thanks again, and can't wait for part 2.
I hear what you are saying.....that doesn't mean I agree with you....Just that I am nodding my head to placate you and silence your futile attempts to win the argument.

I forgot to say that I received this DVD from my supplier a few weeks ago and I've got to say that I like it. It's a fantastic DVD to let beginning lockpsport enthusiasts watch, although the music is SO cheesy...:-D

All in all, it's a reccommended buy for any newbie or for anyone who wants a good quality set of videos about lock picking.
