I'm new here too but it has been very interesting reading the articles etc. I picked my first lock today - a Glostal on a patio door. I have no idea if it is an easy one or not but I had 5 goes over the last few days and on this go it took me about 2 minutes. Well Chuffed!
See you around

Hello all. Have been into locks most of my life. I can still remember when being a little boy, and hearing the pounding of a hammer as my father stamped his company name into the keyblanks. I'd blink on each hit.
My father's been a Locksmith for 40 years and I myself for 21.
I saw a link for this site in Macleans Magazine, and thought I'd check it out.
Having to pick locks on an almost dailly basis, I though I might be able to learn a few more things from LP101, and may be of some help as well.
Rob.

Hi everyone!
I have always had the curiosity to check out how to lockpick. I guess it comes from playing games and watching movies.
I searched for lockpicks and found this place.
I hope I will be able to learn some great stuff from this forum.
Best regards!
PS: Now I have a lot to read... I guess I should do that before I buy some lockpicks!

Hey everybody.
I'm new to the forum. To be honest, I signed up because I was curious about bump keys. But I've always been kinda intrigued by lockpicking. I remember wanting to buy a set of lockpicks advertised in the back of my "Boys Life" magazine when I was a kid. I haven't started even trying to lockpick, but I'm considering it.
Anyway, hi.

Hey everyone... I've been playing around with a Kwikset for the past week or so while I waited for my picks to arrive in the mail. Got them today and just had a fun evening getting acquainted with the new tools. The beginner's tutorial by Digital Blue and the post about re-pinning locks by Illusion have been really helpful.
At any rate... hello!
