Hi, my name is Zombie Hunter, and yes...I am a real live zombie.
I use my lock picking skills in my many zombie activities.
I have a basic Southford set. I have these rubber sleeves that I put on them and I regret it. I’m thinking of taking them off because its hard to slid my picks in and out of the leather case.
I have been able to pick whatever has come before me, but I don’t seem to be getting any faster. I’m hoping to be able to pick locks in roughly five minutes tops.
I also have bump keys and shims. I’m hoping to be able to pick combination locks, since I really don’t consider shims as picking the lock, as it is bypassing it.
My other goal is to find a nice tension wrench. The ones I have are too thick for some locks. Every where I look they don’t tell you how thick the wrench is.
The night comes...I must pick my way put of my coffin....
Better to have a pick and not need it, than to need a pick and not have it.

Hi,
My name is Stick, and I play whistles.
I found this site because I made a bump key
for my own back door, and got interested.
I like clocks, and musical instruments,
and messing with things mechanical.
Thanks to Pinky for the truth about locksmithing
on his website - I nearly signed up for an expensive mistake,
er, I mean locksmith course, with somebody else.
Ta!

Howdy!
I have had a interest in picking for a number of years but never did anything about it. Well, I found this site and started making some picks.
I am still working on opening my first lock though.

Hello my names criminalhate and I'm an alcoholic...... No wait wrong room. I did it again.
=P but anyways I've been interested in lock picking and other aspects of locks and lock smiting. I have had a fascination with locks for some time I got my first set of lock picks when I was 14 or so (yes my dad got them for me) played with them for a few months then lost them when I moved and having the attention span of any 14 year old I forgot about lock picking for some time. Im now 21 and waiting on a set of southord "blemished" lock picks. In the mean time I have started making a couple picks of my own =)
Also I'm from south east Michigan, I play Bass, and I've been contemplating trying to get a locksmith apprenticeship somewhere around here.

Hello everyone. I haven't been able to find much information on actual lockpicking. The only experience I have is from old-fashioned large keyholes. I'm hoping to learn all I can. Cheers.

I suppose i am another wannabe locksmith, been in the building game for yrs now and have decided that locksmith is really the job i would love to do for a living SUPERB FORUM! Am sure i will find it Very useful, In my game "It's mostly when people have lost their keys etc, when i have to gain entry, and the locks that cause me most problems are MORTICE locks as we call them in the UK.
If anyone could help guide me in the right direction as to understanding these locks it would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
Hope to hear from any of you guys soon...
Thanx for your time and for the welcome...
