Welcome everybody,
For all thoes new to the site and lockpicking, LP101 is a great place to start.
Take a look at the new users section, first and don't be afraid to ask any questions just remember to try a search before posting. Cause everyone should HYSF as well as there Pick-fu.
If you're looking for locks to pick, buy some but, DO NOT PICK LOCKS YOU OR ANYONE ELSE RELY ON
I repeat DO NOT PICK LOCKS YOU OR ANYONE ELSE RELY ON, they can and will break, then your house/car/safe/chasity belt is vulnerable or unable to be opened (think: emergency situation).
Keep it legal.
Cheers,
UWSDWF

XX,
No prob.
Slow and steady wins the race around locks.
Frustration, and lack of knowledge of what you're dealing with, are the killers in this sport/job/hobby in my opinion.
And, I'd suggest spending the extra few bucks for a decent set of tools...it'll save your fingers at least, lol.
You won't need/want 99% of what comes with it right now, but you might down the road.
Nothing like something as simple as a good handle alone to add those few minutes to practicing.
Again..just my 2 cents..have fun, and post it when you pop that first lock, no matter the quality, etc.
I'd love to hear about it, as I'm sure most of us would.

Hey guys,
Just posting to say hi since I'm new! My name is Jim and I just turned 23 on Sunday. I don't have much picking history but a few years ago (at least 4 or 5) I purchased a Southord PXS-17 pick set. I picked for a few months and stopped due to school. Well school is all over with and now I'm looking to start up again. I just moved about a month ago and I KNOW I had my picks somewhere but I can't find them for the life of me. So last week I ordered the Peterson Elite II set which should be here today (woo). I read over the MIT and LSI guides and decided I'm going to follow their beginner exercises. I picked up a schlage deadbolt I'm going to practice on. Well I guess thats it for now, just wanted to drop in.

Hi I'm here, nice to meet all of you. I am going to start lockpicking seriously at my birthday when I get the begginer practice lock where you can see the pins and I get my lock pick set.
For now it's just having my friend over and he brings his picks, we pick padlocks that I have bought for a buck.
I have memorized where the binding pin on all of my padlocks.
So hi.

Seeing as you have no post count, yet still a text post, I have no idea whats going on. I'd say your microphone (aka post button) is FUBAR at the moment.
