Hello everyone at Lock Picking 101! I came across this site years ago and found it to very very helpful for just about anything that has to do with locks. This site actually made me buy my first real lock picks and am glad I did. I'm no hardcore lockpicker yet but hopefully soon I will get better than I am. My first lock I picked was my front door actually ( the knob first then deadbolt immedietly after I picked the knob ) and to my surprise, it didn't take me very long after reading up on how locks work and techniques to lock pick from this website. Anyways, Just wanted to say hello to everyone here!

Hi ya Everbody - Found this site a few days ago and have been having a gr8 read - so much info - gonna keep me busy for some time
Made my first pick this afternoon - half diamond (template from the template thread on here ) - from a junior hacksaw blade and have just picked my first lock (well padlock ) with it
So I'm well chuffed with my first attempts - just need loads of practice and more picks.
I like Raimundo's "bogata" picks - very smart - gonna have a try at making them from wiper blade inserts soon

Hi all! Just picked my first lock yesterday. I'm well aware that I'm so green I offset the grass, and I'm hoping that being a member of this community will remedy that.

Hello guys. I`m very new to the whole lock picking trade but I`ll try to fit in as fast as i can. I`ve been reading this forum for about two weeks now and I have already made my own tools (I live in Macedonia so its impossible to buy a set) and I`m already trying to unlock some simple picks and reading a lot of the instructions on this forum and all the guides I can find on the internet. So I hope we`ll get along well and i just wanted to say hello to everyone !
