Hello everyone.
I am new to this site,...but definately not new to picking. I am a professional locksmith from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Just thought I would check this site out some more and see if I can learn some new tricks and maybe show some too.

The name is [pickin at it] I am about 8 weeks in, my first set of picks was a hacksaw blade, second set was more hacksaw blades, my third and current set is made out of two 12 inch sheet rock taping knives (stainless of course). I supplemented my picks with some tension wrenches made from rain-x wiper blades and some snap picks made from the same material. so far I have opened the basics: padlocks, 5 pin kwiksets, 5 pin schlage, defiant deadbolts with spool pins, and so on. I have a schlage 6 pin that seems impossible but I will get it. lokking forward to posting more. Thank you all for your help

I don't believe I've ever posted here before, but I've had an account for some time now. I've been reading and studying lock picking for some time now, and can pick a number of lower to medium quality locks. I'm always looking to get better, and this website has helped me in that quest, so I figured it was time to jump in and maybe contribute a little. So hello, everyone.

Thanks for answering my first couple of posts and I hope to get to know a lot of people starting out like myself. Thanks, Crackerjack

I would like to start of by saying that I enjoy lock picking as a hobby--which I am not very good at--but it is something that has now crossed over into my work. I use my limited skill for good to help people. Since I serve in the US Army, I have been requested to use my hobby to remove locks which would have otherwise been cut. Those few locks are now a permanent part of my practice set, and give me something to work on. I am looking forward to learning more about this. I have a TON of questions but will post appropriately.
