Hi folks I'm Logan, from Mass. and yes I'm a noob. I joined a while back but if I remember correctly I never got around to posting.
Well the other day I found my pick set, picked a few locks and remembered the site so here I am ready to pick, learn and share.

Hello everyone, I just found this site today and am completely new to this and have not yet picked a lock or made my first pick. Although the spring steel is sitting on my desk next to me I found a couple pieces of steel used to hang file folders in a file cabinet that look like they will work with some correct shaping. Don't exactly know how I got here but looking forward to the stay.

Newbie Hello

Postby quietly » 27 Jan 2012 15:13

Hello All.
I've been sport picking for a while and apparently I'm one of those amateur fools who do for fun what professionals do for a living.
Least that's what the local "flashy van and two weeks training franchise locksmith" said when he offered to help me get into my garage as i stood picking the new padlock I'd put on. Ho hum.

G'day all!! Aussie here, names Brad
Love that feeling you get after successfully picking a lock, I remember the first time I did it, used a paper clip as the pick and a bent spike on a fork as a tension wrench. Just starting to get back into picking and looking to get an actual set! Look forward to being apart of this forum.
Cheers!

You have to earn the right to get into those sub forums, it is not something every new user gets to see right away. Too much of the data in those sub forums protects systems that guard money and valuables, so we cant have it be a free public resource for everyone, because a percentage of those people may be up to no good.

Please see the rules for getting into the Advanced forums: http://www.lockpicking101.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2474

Thanks,
