What I have.

Okay, I kinda half took my stuff out of my bag, since I'm lazy. Messy, but you get the idea. This is just my main stuff -- not locks, bits and parts, videos, catalogs, etc. Roughly left to right, we have...

Padlock shims in the baggie, plug spinner, double-prong tension wrenches and some assorted picks, Peterson Mini-knife, Peterson Knife, Adams Rite deadlock latch tools (2), American 700 bypass tool, assorted picks, 3-piece extractor set.

Schlage wafer picks, little metal thing (no idea what it's for, I use it as a small lever), two cobalt bits (1/8" and 9/64"), couple of paint can handles, bent coathanger, Schlage repinning kit. (top row) various followers, impressioning file, extra needles and parts for electropick and snap pick gun, mica shims.

Weiser bump key (thanks to db -- but I can't find any Weisers to try it on! D:), assorted blanks, Kwikset "pull key" (will lock into a Kwikset KIK -- tie it to a stick or something with some cord, can lever out the core), some Schlage blanks, curved shim stock, warded picks, some finger-loop bogotas on a key ring, two bogota sets (one extra long), homemade wrench, some more fingerloop picks, Medeco pick (I think ray was toying with me on that one).

Vice grips for impressioning, SC1 blanks for same (I don't carry the box, didn't mean to put that in there), HPC Electropick, Lockaid snap gun, assorted tension wrenches, knee pads.

Under-the-door lever-handle tool (on top), Z-tool auto kit, improvised opening book (some potentially handy bypasses), Schlage rekeying manual.

Top view of bag. WD-40, Super-Lube Teflon lubricant, duct tape. "Hook shim" tool barely visible in the right pocket. Bag is from Maxpedition, btw, the MPB.

Yes, well... I do have every intention of going into trade next year... the upside of that is I can justify putting out some more bucks... the downside is that I now actually HAVE to earn it back, otherwise I'm just out however much money is sitting on that bed (plus x more).

It's a little new to me having to make a serious initial expenditure to break into a field. The work I've done in the past has generally required nothing but skill and a computer.

Or you could just charge other hobbyists an admission price to see your collection. Holy cow that's a drool-worthy stash!

Where did you get the big tool bag where you have everything ? i dont like hardboxes and have been looking for something like this for all my equipment.

Here's my modest pick set, which I made myself. The case rolls up nicely! I tried to get a good selection of hooks, diamonds and a a couple rakes, plus tension wrenches of several different thicknesses and offsets.

prodigy can i ask were did you get that big case thing that all off your tools are on i have been looking for some thing like that for a while
