Disc Detainer Picks That Are Already Filed Down?

Postby coderz » 16 Jun 2018 23:57

It looks to me (correct me if I'm wrong) that the disc detainer pick from Spooxe has been filed down properly and you can even get ANOTHER head from it for 10 EUR for Garnite locks.

Does anyone know if this is correct?

Is the spooxe one though filed down to fit in disc detainer locks? Spooxe has been known to polish and professionally file down stuff just like the Dimple picks which are GOSO picks that have been filed down?

At this time, disc detainer locks and picks are restricted to advanced forums.

Just trying to be polite as I'm new here, but I don't know what that means? Should I have posted this there instead? Sorry in advance! I would just love to know if the Spooxe version of this costs more, and I'm assuming that it's more expensive for a reason? In any case, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.

The advanced area is for members who have met the requirements. Topics in advanced forums are restricted and are not permitted to be discussed on the open forum.

Not familiar with the Spooxe version of the pick. It may be better, the same, or worse.

Thanks for your help! I contacted the guy selling it by the way, and he hasn't responded or been very helpful either.

I had just been looking at Spooxe. Are you talking about the "nose" of the pick which is used for tensioning? It does not look filed down to me if this is what you are referring to.
