Needing a Van?

Needing a Van?

Postby Devs » 25 Aug 2006 9:53

In today's world of rising fuel prices, using a van may cost more than your small business can take. I run a very small locksmith opperation. I try to only stick to lockout and basic repair service. So I don't have a need to carry much. I started in an old 3 ton car, then gas went above $3US so I moved to a compact car. Customers actually seem to like the idea more! It keeps my overhead low so I can pass my savings to the customer. Just my two cents -Dev

Good move for you, but for those of us who attempt to operate a fully mobile service, a compact wouldn't last very long at all..(even with a trailer)

I understand what your saying about fuel prices though, here in Canada we pay the equivalent of closer to $5/gallon.
