This is the old Locksmith business info area and will be broken down to fill in the new sections below.

Release forum

OK all I have looked at a few release forms and have came up with my own very basic forum. Yea there are others that look simular for sale but we don't all wont to buy custome forums.

Here is what I am hoping. If you have word take this form and give it a look over. If you see any problems or other additions that would be nice then change it up and pepost it. Together we might be able to come up with a forum we can all use.

I placed this twice to make sure the link would work in at least one of them. SORRY BOUT THAT.

Oh yea if any of you have a friend that is in the leagle feild plz see if they would look over this for us all.

I have some release forms somewhere that came with a Z-Tool kit. I have never asked anyone to sign one and don't really think they are worth the paper they are printed on (legally anyway). I know some people do use them, but I would prefer to walk away from a job then perform some kind of "backyard appendectomy" that I have no idea if it will work (and therefore need a release). Plus, if I were a customer and someone asked me to sign a piece of paper that says, "no matter what this supposed professional does he isn't responsible for the quality of his work", I'd tell him to go packing unless I was under duress, and then it wouldn't be a legal authorization anyway. Maybe if you told the client over the phone before you head out it would be a resonable part of the "contract", but once you have arrived I think it's too late to add restrictions, unless you are willing to walk away unpaid and the client isn't put out (literally) by your inaction.
