the company i work for does a lot of Door access controls, Security alarms is our main business but we are expanding into locksmithing to improve the value we can offer our customers. In the new year we will be doing work for a defence contractor, just the door access system alone will be worth $70, 000. We will also be installing a Security Alarm system and CCTV to cover a 10 building muiltty level compound. Because I do not have the locksmithing experiance and have just begun the licencing process we are subing out the actual keying of the locks I will however be installing them in the doors.

I stock lots of things that are $300 +

I stock a few things that are $3000 +

wow! sounds like you got a really cool job... I can only dream of bidding jobs like that... in your case I can definitely see the the need for such stock and it's incurring costs... but for your average lockie in the states... do you normally stock bulk items of cost @ $300 ? just trying to put my business plan into perspective/fruition...
TIA
