Business Name....

This is the old Locksmith business info area and will be broken down to fill in the new sections below.

Business Name....

Postby don1 » 23 Sep 2009 10:10

I'm trying to decide whats best... to have the name of where my business is based or not. i.e "Wimbledon Locksmiths" - Wimbledon is a 'respectable' area and I think it may give confidence to a potential customer. However I'm thinking it may put people off if they don't live in Wimbledon but would still be in my catchment area. So maybe something like "DM Locksmiths" is more neutral? Hmmm... any comments???

Cheers

it could imply that wimbelton is the main area you cover..if other areas are close by i would personly choose something more neutral...But i do believe a name is a important decision when starting your business..think wisely grasshopper

You could just go for name covering a wider area too... Maybe the county or region name? Or just go with Wimbledon Locksmiths but make sure all your ads mention that you do service the surrounding area as well.

come up with a couple of names, or different ideas, because sometimes when you submit your business name, it is not always available and you have to come up with something else. Myself I would stay away from the "your city" locksmith or "your county" locksmith, come up with something unique.
