Talk about expensive...
I know a SF chinatown locksmith who cuts standard keys for $0.80 (sc1, y1 ,kw1 ,kw10, sc4,m1, etc.)
I asked him to cut a few best keys as well... he charged me $3.25 per key...(i needed 20 keys duplicated so he made me a deal) $3.00 each... One drawback... I provided my own blanks, fortunately the blanks only cost me around $0.50 each for Jet brand "DUPLICATION PROHIBITED" in a "K".
Talk about a deal... the keys worked well too...
