Abble Locks

Postby Johnny Bravo » 2 Nov 2007 4:37

I've just heard Abble Locks are struggling. Anybody know anything about this?

Are they going down the pan like Keyedge did?

rather strange first post!!!!

I have heard nothing about them. Can you elaborate on where and how you heard this rumour? Or are you trying to cause mischief!

regards

At a guess I'd say he's definately trying to cause mischief, either that or very wrongly informed.

One of our locksmiths has just brought this post to my attention and I thought I should just post a quick reply and put this rumor to bed before if gets out of hand.

I can quite happily say that The Able Group (Able Locks) are definately not struggling or going out business.

I think this is just a sad attempt at advertising against the sites rules.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

I do work for able Locks so my concern is genuine. I don't want to see them go out of business. The information I have got is from the call centre staff.

Apparently they are not getting as much work as they used to. Personally I know first hand that able are not putting as much work my way as they have done in the past but that may be because they have more locksmiths in my area to pick and choose from.

The reason they are not putting much work your way is that they along with Timpsons etc have got some mug to work on the cards for them. Some of us have been warning that this was going to happen for a while now,we have of course been called idiots etc etc...i hate to sayi told you so but ......perhaps everyone should have listened to Pinky and Toomush a few years back? a little late now eh chaps?

they have an exceptional reputation for high prices and destructive entry, oh and paying a very poor rate to the guys that build up the areas so they can get a paye bloke set up.

Does anybody take work for them?

I've spoke to a few guys that work for them and they say they hardly had a job out of them for the last few months.

I'm pretty quiet myself. Where is all the work at the moment?

In a couple of years time with the money they have made they will come to a City near you. They are already researching which states has regulations in place and which hasn't. Canada is a pretty untapped area for call centres
