training courses in the uk

Postby burwat » 1 Aug 2009 2:48

Can anybody advise me of which are the better training courses in the uk?

Im looking for a good 2 or 3 day basic course.

I have found a couple a couple of links on other threads to take me to a lidt but when clicking the link it tells me im not authorised to read the content.

any info will be appreciated.

Umm...what are you supposed to learn in 2-3 days? I could teach/learn to use about five specialized tools in that time and give some basics of lockpicking, but nothing else, so I really would love to know what these training courses are for.

IF (and only IF) they are "become a locksmith in a couple of days" -courses, they are a rip-off/scam, because you just don't learn enough in a couple of days of a profession.

Being a professional in this field takes time my friend, there are so many short courses for this
profession and I haven't heard about two or three days then you'll learn what you want
training courses usually take months to learn some techniques

a training course will teach you the basics its then up to the individual to go away and progress. There are so many different scenarios that you only encounter on the job, when things dont go to plan, common sense and a logical mindset are essential, if your not prepared to work and practice dont bother. You dont become james bond overnight
