The whole set is twisting to make it tilt alittle but when I was instaling them I found if i tightend them to much the latch would start sticking abit. Does this mean that the latch and the levers could be off my a little and just needsto be lined up perfect to be able to tighten as much as needed so it doesnt shift?
That's a common problem with levers, especially the cheap ones. Many modern lever handle locks have two small pilot holes drilled above and below the 2 1/8 lock bore hole. This is to prevent this very issue. I prefer to use an installation jig for all lock installations, especially the lever handle locks.
Check the alignment of the two holes, tighten the lock sufficiently and see what happens.
