Finding Combos...

Postby benr2424 » 12 Feb 2006 13:08

So take me through this again...
1) Get a master padlock.
2) Pull or push the shackle.
3) Start at 0 and turn to the left
4) Find the range where the dial sticks (this particular one- sticks 2-5)

Then what?

And what after you find the third number? How do you find the rest?

Will this work on master locker-locks also?

Thanks

You find the last number of the combo by pulling up the shackle, you'll feel it stick when it reaches the right number. Put this number into a program which determines the code and it will give you a list of cimbinations to try, because of the way they are designed one of these combos it gives you will work.

On topic: I tried it on my Palm and it actualy works... pretty impressive, I feel like I'm some kind of secret-agent :P

If I didn't havr to sift through so many combo's it would have been better, but it clearly works.

Thanks for that :)

Unfortunately, It will not work on them. I'm still looking for the technique that will. When I find it, I will post here.

That was a dumb question. My guess is that now if you try to post again, people will flame you.

meh. its just a cool parlor trick if you ask me. they usually take about 10-20 minutes to figure out, and in that time, shims can open 10-20 locks. bolt cutters work even better.

Well just a theory, but I would suppose same reason to open these locks as picking other locks.... just to see if u can learn how to do it for the fun of it.
