In need of help for lock picking

Hi, I'm a newbie in lock picking so i would really appreciate if you guys can help me out. I'm using a 5pin lock for practise but i have a problem with choosing the right tools. When i try to pick the lock, the pin closest to the opening usually gets pushed in as i try to pull the feeler out. As you can see from the pictures, the key shows that the pin closest to the opening is suppose to be sticking out. Therefore, i would hope that you guys would give me your opinion.
I've include the pictures of the lock, key and the tools that i have. Hope that these will be useful for you guys.

You should be fine picking that with either the half-diamond, or better even, the small hook (fourth and fifth picks from the RIGHT in your picture).

I didn't see a tension tool in your tool set. What are you using for a tension wrench?

When pulling the picks out of the keyway it might be beneficial to raise the rear of the pick and tilt it as it comes out to avoid the pins better, but that closest pin is going to have SOME lift to it. The pin appears to be sitting right down on the keyway ward, and from the pic of the key it appears that it'll have some room to play with.

I've tried to tilt the pick and avoid the pins but i guess my pick is kinda big and i'm left with little space to pull the pick out. And i've updated the pics to show the tension wrench and when the wrench is in the hole.

Try to use one of the smaller tension wrenches. That wrench looks like it’s so thick that it comes to the bottom of the pins. You might also try a tension wrench in the top of the keyway to allow more room for the pick.

hmm, that puts it into better perspective. Yes, as jimb said, your tension wrench is pretty large in the keyway. You're gonna need some of the space open right below the pins.
