Postby firecraze » 30 Mar 2004 15:11

Hi, im new to lock picking. ive beeen doing it about a week,i bougt The PXS-17 lock pick set. Should have it in about a week. Anyway i have a small wolfdog padlock and a 4/5 pin tri-circle padlock. I have been able to pcik the small wolfdog padlock about 4 times. Not sure how i do, well just rake and scrub it contineously  All i got at rthe mo , is a safety pin and a paerclip as a tension wrench. Any ideas on how to pick the tri-circle lock :?: thanks for any help....

Some of the large (60mm) tri-circles need huge amounts of torque to turn. Be patient and it will open (or be like me - impatient and use a sledgehammer on the door then take the lock home and play with it in comfort!)
sledgehammers make excellent back up picks!

Probably too much tension, resulting in false sets. Ease up, and try again, still no luck, ease up some more.
