I tried to Search the forum for pictures of a tape meassure shim, but I couldn't find any, so, if it wouldn't be to much of a hastle could you post an image of what the tape meassure looks like, cuz I live in sweden and I'm not so sure that I think of the same kind of tape meassure.
If There is a picture somewhere on the forum, Direct me please ;D, This really got me interested.

I can only assume that is what is meant when tape measure is mentioned,
You can also get them where its just the tape and it coils around itself, these would be better for shims as they are wider
The only other type of tape measure i can think of right now is the soft ones used for cloth and dress making,

ye.. exactly... Those were my thoughs as well.. The thing is , here in sweden we have only 3m long ones.. (afaik) and 25" is.. like 6/10ths of a meter.. or something. So.. I was confused for a while, but your right.. it's that kind..
