Maybe I wasn,t clear enough but I really thought I mentioned one wire

I also agree that 5 wires are 4 too many and yes one wire should do the trick by lifting one lever after the other,but as far as I can read my posting I have never mentioned the use of 5 wires after you already explained it didn,t work.

the idea of using one wire came after reading your sticky about leverlocks,when I looked at the pictures of the inside of the lock I came up the idea of using one wire,this wire can be turned from left to right to push a lever up and back and forth to lift up the next lever.

Sorry i got mixed up with this comment, i assumed you had said that you had been thinking about the 5 wire idea and what were the problems and why it didn't work which is what i was replying to, easy mistake to make i suppose, ill let you carry on then and you can forget what i said,
